  • Overview

    Facilities Engineers required to start at the earliest time through until the end of 2019 on an equal time rotation of 3/3


    • Previous experience as a Commissioning Team Lead offshore
    • This role will be the primary offshore focal point for all MOC construction and pre-commissioning scopes, ensuring any related support issues are addressed, and that the appropriate technical support is provided to the operations teams onshore and offshore
    • Liaise with operations colleagues and reporting line to MOC Co-Ordinator based onshore
    • Ensuring that all requirements, deadlines, and support services for FPSO Operations, Construction, Pre-Commissioning and Materials are met and carried out safely by offshore personnel
    • Carry out permit audits
    • Lead and participate in a proactive safety performance and provide appropriate input to the Safety management system
    • Participate in equipment failure investigations and incident investigations as required
    • Management of Sub Contractors and suppliers ensuring supporting vendors and suppliers comply with company standards i.e. Safety Management, Quality Management and Corporate Social Responsibility
    • Ensures compliance with the BAB/AMO Safety, Health, Security and Environmental Management Systems for all assets/facilities are met within areas of own responsibility
    • Multi discipline construction / commissioning focal point, based offshore, ideally with some experience of working for an operator
    • Responsible for the day to day planning, managing and execution of offshore multi discipline scopes
    • Able to motivate and drive all the team i.e. direct and indirect resource
    • Vital that candidate is a good communicator and can report clearly and concisely
    • A good understanding of completions system through construction, commissioning and dynamic commissioning
    • Ability to work as a member or leader of a team and communicate effectively with onshore and offshore staff at all levels
    • Demonstrable skills in Construction & Commissioning problem solving
    • An awareness of budgetary control and the ability to deliver tasks safely to program and within cost targets
    • An awareness and ideally experience in working as part of an Operations Team
    • Demonstrable knowledge of business and operational planning processes
